Introduction

About the project

The RE-VALUE partnership champions a holistic approach to urban development that aligns climate neutrality, the built environment and the well-being of communities. Advancing the EU Mission for Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, RE-VALUE brings together leading European organisations and focuses on nine waterfront cities.

Through transparent and participatory decision-making processes in urban design and planning, and the integration of community voices in design, the project aspires to help build cities that are not only climate-neutral but also socially inclusive and economically prosperous.

Structured into ‘Innovation Cycles’ on ‘Collective Story Building’, ‘Data-driven Scenario Building’, and ‘Investment and Partnership Building’, RE-VALUE brings together members of the partnership to co-create tools and pathways to engage with the systemic challenges facing cities today.
