Eniko is a Hungarian national with 15+ years of experience leading on research, collective action, strategy development and thought-leadership in business impacts on human rights and climate change. She has a particular interest in renewable energy project development and value chains.
Eniko previously led the Climate & Environment team at the UN Principles for Responsible Investment, providing tools, guidance and capacity building for PRI’s 4,800+ signatories. While at PRI, she co-led the Secretariat of the UN-Convened Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance with UNEP FI to support asset owners in setting and implementing net zero targets. She also worked in close collaboration with other investor networks to develop tools & guidance on climate action for asset owners, asset managers, and service providers.
Prior to her work on responsible investment, Eniko led the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre’s work on climate justice and in the corporate accountability in the EU. She co-developed the first Renewable Energy & Human Rights Benchmark aiming to drive a race to the top on human rights in the wind & solar sectors and the first Transition Minerals Tracker looking at human rights impacts of key minerals for the low-carbon transition.
Eniko particularly values complementing policy-level work in experiences on the ground and has also carried out field work to research environmental and social impacts of lithium extraction in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia.
